HOS on Wheels 2017

OO house small

HOS by the Sea! HOS in the Hills! HOS on the Islands! HOS on Civvy Street!

After the successful HOS on wheels tour of Scotland last summer, Housing Options Scotland (HOS) will again being going on tour! But this year is going to be bigger, better and broader!

Between July and October, We’ll be setting up information and advice events in communities all over Scotland, where disabled and older people, veterans, those in the armed forces and those who support them can come along and learn all about finding the right home in the right place.

There will also be the opportunity to also speak to other organisations in the area who may be able to help you too. There will be presentations, market places to find out more information and space to have a nice cup of tea or coffee and a chat.

But this time our tour is going to be split in to four:

HOS by the Sea: Where we will visit seaside towns up and down the country!

4th July – Ayr Town Hall – 10am to 3pm

11th July – Arbroath Community Centre – 10am to 3pm

18th July – North Berwick, St Andrews Blackadder Church – 10am to 3pm

25th July – Oban, Corran Halls – 10am to 3pm

HOS in the Hills and Countryside: The hills will be alive with the sound of music (or housing advice). Wherever there are hills we will be there!

28th July – Crieff, Strathearn Community Campus Assembly hall – 10am to 3pm

3rd August – Fort William (Venue TBA) – 10am to 3pm

10th August – Dumfries, The Usual Place – 10am to 3pm

16th August – Ballater (Venue TBA) – 10am to 3pm

HOS on the Islands: We will brave the waters of the coasts around Scotland to visit our friends on the islands in the north and west coasts.

HOS on Civvy Street: Working with our friends in the armed forces communities, we will be behind the wire and on civvy street giving advice to those serving in the armed forces and veterans.

We will be publishing further details of dates and locations in the near future. If you would like to attend, find out more about where and when HOS will be coming to your town, or if you are an organisation who would like to get involved on any of the days, please get in touch.
